Our Linux software section is quite new but this list of top Linux software from senior editor Jojo Yee is a great resource for any Linux user.

Paragon Software are offering their Backup and Recovery Compact 10 edition (normally $40) for free. It is available for free until Tuesday, Jan 19th. Its not the full suite they sell for $70 but it still has a lot of good features and is a great product.
